ok so i have an 06 Lancer Ralliart and am wondering if there is anything benefitial about swapping the crank out of my 4g69 with a 4g63 or if its possible at all or if there is any aftermarket cranks out there for my RA i have not found anything and i want to replace head cam and pistons all at once while i am there i might as well swap a crank if there is one out there that i can use any help would be great thanks

there really isnt a point to building up your motor unless you plan on boosting your car. It will jsut be wasted money. And no i dont think you can put in a 4g63 crank

Ok i didnt know kinda dumb question but i do plan on putting a turbo on after its built i dont know if i wanna put the 16g kit from RRM or if i wanna put on a bigger one maybe something like a .50 trim nothing more though and i have also those with an internally built engine of putting nitrous cuz with the block apart i wanna port and polish as well but we will see about the nitro

well im not totally sure with that engine but turbocharging most NA engines will require a couple thing. Depending on the boost level you want the two major things is to get stronger rods and lower compression pistons. And then some head work with some cams and headstuds

Yeah i have already found the head cam and pistons i cant find any rods crank and i can find the headstuds i am still looking for crank and rods but i will find them i plan on building the engine before i throw the turbo in and a limited slip diff and i know alot of people have told me well you should of gotten an evo but the RA is a little more affordable right now and i like to have my own unique car not to many people around here have the ralliart its either an OZ or the Evo so i got lots of plans for it but still trying to locate some of the parts like rods and maybe a crank
