Couple of things to consider when buying that year Galant. One that Galant does not have the transponder key. If someone wants to take off with your ride they can unlike the later years where each key has a chip that will be needed in order for the car to start. Second try to make sure you get a Fed Spec Galant.

i realized just was purchased a black 99 galant ES.. (gift)
it cost just about 6 grand or so.
depending on the milage - the price will range.
look @ private sellers - this way you can negociate the price.
