my friend richie is really into systems. i was told that 2g eclipse alternators go pretty easily? and he said my stock alternator is 75 something and i should have like 200 for a good system without dimming lights lol. i got two 12s in mine right now and sometimes my car hesitates, not sure if its cuz of the subs or if its an exhaust problem. either way, im not messing around with a bigger system. my brothers got two 15" kicker L7's in his 3000 gt... very very loud. battery dies constantly. so idk.

If I were you, I would stick with Rons offer. 18s will be too too much for that car. The amp required to push them (2K) and up will eat up your power in that car. Even with a cap it can be an ugly situation. Sony, BTW is generally garbage, with the exception of thier Mobile ES series.
