Yea, I am familiar with LS1tech. I have looked through it a few times, but I've heard you get bashed pretty hard if you try to do anything unique to your car that no one else likes. Haha, as far as the import bashing, I do it in jest. I respect imports (well, the ones that are worth respecting, and I think you all understand what I mean). Everyone's car is their own, you do what you want with it. Unfortunately some have what you'd call bad taste, while others are followers and do what is supposed to be cool, then you have those people that really know what they are doing. I grew up in San Jose, CA, and there are a lot of imports around here. There are a good amount of domestics too, but imports sure do outnumber the domestics. But in all honesty, it is getting that way almost anywhere. I give my friends crap about their cars, they give me crap about mine. Heck, you'll even see me doggin' my own car. GM really messed up when they decided to engineer the L03 (the motor in my car). Throttle Body Injection (TBI) is also known as the red-headed step child of fuel injection haha. But yea, ya'll do seem cool. You guys remind me of the group over at Z28.com. Even though it says Z28, there are members driving anything from an F-body, to classics, to rustangs, to STi's and SRT4's.

LOL yeah most of us started off with some form of Mitsu, and after the cars are gone the Forum just stuck.

I remember one thread in perticular on LS1 Tech. There was a guy that had a 00 TA and was saying how he put a bet on a guy with an EVO that he would kick his ass on the strip (Both have about 1k on mods). This guy was maaajor smack talking, but what i found amusing was how everyone would say how piss easy it would be to just blow him away, and yet they where all offering up their parts for him to use for the race (in the form of cams, exhaust, slicks, etc...) Then the priceless one of all "I hear the EVOs knock sensor is pretty sensative, if you take your exhaust off maybe you can mess with it and cause it to miss" Oh wow, if you cant win honestly... just cheat

So this went on for a number of days. The guy was posting constnantly and watching the thread religously. Then all of a sudden, race day..... and after that he never came back.

So i made my little post and everyone gave me **** lol. I just laughed so hard how everyone could be so ignorant "What a weed whacker piece of **** ****ing 4 banger" ... what a smart statement. He must have an IQ of neg 3 digits.

So they all got pissed off at me... but anyways.

Haha, come on now! The LS1 F-body puts out good numbers, but come on, it is no match for AWD. I only run my mouth to be stupid haha, especially in those situations where it is like matching a Geo Metro up with a Ford GT. But seriously, it'd require slicks, a high stall, and some good mods to launch better then an EVO. However, if they run 'em out, then the F-body should eventually take the win :D

Yea, I see where you are coming from. People don't understand, there are factory freak motors. There are a few of them that I know of over on Z28. One is an LT1 pushin' some good numbers, and the other is an LS1 pushing more power then a stock C5, and I don't think he has anything major done to it.
