Oh I know they are. And they can be mosters quite easily but where my car is at in mods it takes quite a bit for them to compete now. I mean I am a meth kit away from low 11s lol. I raced a super charger new GT mustang at the track and beat him but a whole second in the 1/4 that as on low boost and a less than average launch

Haha, no offense, but them GT's ain't much haha. Stock LT1's can beat the new GT's. Goes to show you Fords advancement in the automotive field huh? Good old push rod prevails! :D

I didn't mean to say that LT1's or LS1's would take your car. They are great motors, but can only do so much stock, and even then, if you go modded Vs. modded, well, it gets interesting.

The new GTs are lame in my opinion. At least the ones before it sounded beastly.. these just sound gay. Although i did get the chance to fool around with one in a Ford dealership and when i bliped the gas the car would shake

Yea I know that... I was just throwin it out there. LS1s and LT1s still arnot going to beat me unless they are modded up. My car is faster than a stock C5 z06... regular c5s and camaros are not much of a callenge unless they have a few things. I know they are great motors and a few small mods they get alot of power. I have somewhere in ballpark of $10,000 into my motor and it is still only going to hang with these cars is they are slightly modded
