I was wondering a easier way to install a back-up camera to the shifter so when you put it in reverse the camera and monitor automatically switches on ... i'm still waiting for my camera to arrive but the monitor is already hooked up.

according to the HU manual all i need is to ground it to the reverse wire in the shifter ... so i guess a simple ground switch will do the trick

this wire is a positive feed so instead of messing with the reverse wire i decided to just tap this to a live wire but i put a switch in between ... now working good and i can turn on the rear camera anytime even moving forward kewl.
