I recently came into a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS, in good condition.

It has on it (preformance): -Cold Air Intake (1 year old)
                                        -Megan Racing Exhaust tip

It has a deep sound to it, but isn't all that quick. I would like to change that. (Budget= $400 per part). Help!

if you get good quality headers you MIGHT pick up a little power, you would get better airflow.. since you already have cold air intake on it i would get an exhaust system

I header will most likely give you about 4 wheel hp. Lame if you ask me : )

If you really want to get some power out of it, try the 4g63 head swap... its kind of involved, but its relatively inexpensive. ...I use the term inexpensive loosely... Theres a whole thread on it.
