I want to put some fender flares on my eclipse to give it a wide look. Found some on ebay for about $240. How do they mount their universal.

You need to mould them.

They look stupid

agreed, if u want ur car to look wider then get either a widebody kit, or get spacers for ur wheels... either way are ricey, and those flares look like crap

Agreed with SK8 and whoever Kmaug is... Nothing says "big homo" like universal fender flares. WB kit FTW, if you need to mod the body at all that is. If it were me (as well as many others), Id leave it stock.

I agree with sebba. Wide body kits aren't all they're cracked up to be... no pun intended but they do crack, especially if everything is molded. Its a big headache. trust me

Are civic has a wide body kit and it mounted up fine theirs only 1 spot that didnt mount perfect by the hood but you cant even tell at less you compair both sides.

Im getting rims ordered off ebay that are i think +42mm. How many inches is that?

Its not a question of mounting. Its a question of molding. If you want to just affix the panels with quick releases, you'll probably be alright, but if you want to mold it and make it look like the car is supposed to look like that... then you're gonna have issues. Look in my gallery... I think you can see where its cracking along the molding.. Remember though. we're not here to talk you out of something. We're just trying to give you our opinions. In the end its your choice
