I currently own an '07 Spyder. I just found out that the '08 head unit comes Sirius satellite ready. I'm assuming that the '08 head unit is the same size as the '07 HU and that swapping them would not require any mods to the dash. Is there wiring harness issues? I've tried to call 2 different dealers in Orlando area to ask these questions but get no where as they are all morons. Even the 800 Mitsubishi hotline was no help for technical support, they put it back on the dealers....sigh.....anyone out there have a clue if this is possible?????

Won't work. For any satellite radio to function, it has to have an external antenna, and for cars that come from the factory satellite radio ready, that's usually mounted on the rear of the vehicle. Easiest option would be to get yourself an aftermarket unit. If you don't want an independant receiver sitting on your dash, go get a Pioneer or Alpine (or whatever brand you like, as long as it says "Satellite radio ready" on it), get the receiver module (usually around $100) and there you have it.
