So i was looking through all of the boxes of parts that i got with the new car, and all of a sudden in the box with all the tranny parts i find this!

At first I got excited, but then I realized that I have no idea how to use it... it also came with all of these connectors in the box... do you have any idea on where i connect these or wire them up to? or where i plug the big black cord into? and once i do, how the heck do i work it all??

Then this little metal piece was in another package, any idea as to what it is?

the metal peice looks like a mounting bracket. Check to see if any of those connectors go to the OBDII port. Because thats where a logger will normally hook up

You might consider contacting Palm to see if they have any installation instructions.  I found one similar at this link  -  http://www.palm.com/us/support/visor/visordeluxe/
