I've seen before someone put a 3rd gen engine in a 2nd gen eclipse. Was just wondering if anyone knows where i can find any pictures on this or anything about it.

Im thinkin you can get a better engine than a 3rd gen eclipse...  if you are going to spend the money, at least do it right

Stay 4 cylinders......its not a true DSM anymore if you go to a V6

The swap is pretty hard, but i can see why it would be cool.  The person i knew(not personally) put the v6 into an awd 2g and then supercharged it.  It made monster power and still looked cool.  But in the end, was it worth it?  Not really because of how much it cost and it still couldn't go as fast a 2g with a t28.

Also, if you want a v6 and good looks, get a 3000gt.  The 94+ body style looks awesome and it's got balls too.

If you do the swap I wanna see pictures.  I personally don't see the point in doing the swap but then again I prefer the turbo route.  Keep us updated what u end up doing.
