im getting a carbon fiber hood and it is vented will that be a problem if it rains?

nah, you will be fine. I have a vented hood and haven't had any issues. The only thing i've noticed is that my engine gets dirty easily. So you will have to clean it more often

I never had a hood that is vented. I'm just scared during heavy snow storm or something else.

I had a 2000 Subaru Impreza RS and I live in Northern PA which gets it fair share of snow, and I had a vented hood and had no problem with rain or snow, but I also drove my car everyday and cleaned the snow off of it daily.  I was concerned more about the rain and there was no problem.  I also agree with Crypto the engine does get more dirty with the vented hood compared to the non-vented hood.
