Well boys and girls my baby is done for now white steam every where when i was on the road. I have a 97 gst with "145k". I took the car to a well known tunner guy here in the ATL! He told me the the turbo has locked up and for sure the head gasket is done!  he also told me that he will call me when the heads come off! I need some big time advice on the best thing to do with little money? Don't get me wrong I want the best for my  baby but the cost is getting into the $1800  range. He told me Things  To think about "redo head", " new turbo"?? if i do all this how long will the bottom end last should i just do a rebuild please say NO but keep it real! lol ! man I don't know what to do I can do alot of the work myself but no time i have to work and i need the car to get running!  ... the car never ran hot and had oil the hole time..!

just replace the parts. Those two things to replace are not that difficult. While your doing the head gasket just do the other usual maintenance such as the water pump, valve cover gaskets, timing belt, t-belt tensioner. Then just replace the turbo. You can get those for extremely cheap.
