Will they ever make it to US... that's my question. I can't believe that simple things like fitted rubber mats are not even available here. Mitsu doesn't get any love in the US :(

links? that looks like PS, IMO. Grille is from Mitsubishi Fuzion/Zinger, see here: http://paxtech.blogspot.com/search/label/Fuzion.

Yep, it's legit. Looks sharp, very clean lines.

If the Japanese are getting a new version, could this be the reason all the factory plant is moving to nedcar Europe and the Peugeot Citroën (psa group) are being moved to another Japanese plant too thus giving room for the new jap home version.

So it looks like 3 different outlander will be in production.  The Japanese outlander same as our model has been in production since 2005 in Japan so it being updated.

Seems a little far fetched to call it a new model with a grill change and signal integrated side mirrors.

The wheels are the new XLS wheels in the US.

I agree that they need to send some accessories this way..  I'm feeling the need to mod something since there are a lot of Outie's in town now.  I probably would have picked up a new grill, but the dollar is so weak...a British pound costs $2.05...and now the Canadian dollar is worth more..it's a $1.04 US..It used to be about $.67.

I'm sure the British folks would love to come over and pick up a new Outtie for 12K pounds LOL

That could be a big reason they're not sending them to us...it would be an outrageous price for us.

It will be a new model because it's getting an engine upgrade to 3.0L V6, not because of all the minor cosmetic changes.

If you look at the pictures you can see every panel of the Japanese outlander home version is different except the tailgate.

Why else move all the production lines to other factory's in Europe and Japan?

Mitsubishi needs to meet the demand for the Europe market. That's why they are making efficient use of untapped production capacity at their NedCar plant. Making the Outlanders in Europe helps a lot in keeping with the demand. Perhaps the Europeans will also see a faster turnaround time for "special orders", and I am seeing a possible "build your own Outlander" option, just like what they did with the 380 in Australia. So now, they won't have to settle for whatever is on the lot. Maybe then if demands will be greater here in the US we will also see Indiana built Outlanders in the future.
