The engine light kept coming on. So I changed the head gasket and plug wires then drove it 3 miles down the road . It was runing fine a little skip then it was like a thump and it started losing power, it was cutting out really bad. I drove it back home and got new bosch plugs and put them in and the engine light is staying on and it is still skiping couldn't get the ngk plugs they are on order. don't know what is wrong with it. checked with a meter and it said it was misfiring on all plugs. I have a 97 eclipse with turbo GTS. Help guys I don't know what to do.
Thanks T

Make sure to check your timing..  If your belt skipped a tooth you could ruin some valves if you keep running it..   But trace your wires back and double check you have them all on the right plugs..  That will make it run like crap, if it even starts..

could it be the alternator? i had similar problems with losing power and it was the alternator and the wires that plug into it had bad connections.

misfiring on all plugs, sounds like timing to me also.. but really bosche plugs arent good in these cars either, they can make you bog down. i would check timing then if it is not correct i would then check the coil.. but i hope you didnt trash the head..
