hey guys i just took out my engine to day and realized it was a 7 bolt motor. i was wondering if the 7 bolt oil pan would fit the 6 without causing any problems? so now i have to buy a new flywheel. and i think the last owner had bought a new head for it because it has a warrenty tab on it. heres some pics.

no, i dont think the 6 bolt oil pan will fit, one or the other has an extra caved in spot on one of the sides, i think it is the 7 bolt

i was about to say that. that is a clean 1g from what i can see.

edit, why did you take the whole knuckle off? not just pull the half shaft out so you could still roll it with the wheels on it?

yea, it is clean, and i think it is because it is easier to pull out the tranny if you take the whole knuckle/wheel assembley off
