I have a 97 spyder eclipse gst and it has 2 problems. 1 i knew about and 1 just happened.

1. My oil psi gauge went ****ing crazy today shooting from 0 to 140 and all around but it is running just fine and has oil and stuff in it. The guy at autozone told me my electric current is ****ed up.

2. If i get my car in first gear and i dont kinda feather the gas before i stop at a light or something it stalls. The guy told me the engine just dumps to much gas when it does that and that i just gotta give it some gas. Is he right and is there a way to fix it?

1) What blow off valve are you running

2) Change your oil

3) The sensor connection is loose

1) Is the pipe to the intake connected

2) Where did you get the BOV?

3) Shouldnt be hard. If it turns out its not loose, just replace it.

Its vented to atmosphere... thats your stalling problem.

Get a pipe, connect it from the BOV to the intake.

Can you get me a picture of this BOV?

If its not vented to the atmoshphere will it still pop when im driving? Also, dont many people vent it to the atmoshphere?

Any pipe that will fit : ) You can buy some hose, pour boiling water on it, make the angle you need and put ring clamps on both ends.

So was the BOV from eBay? (the link you supplied doenst work)

What do you mean by pop? You mean open?

Yes, many people do, because they are f-ing stupid and rather hear that stupid sound than have their car run right : )

I was actually looking this up while you were replying. No the bov was not from ebay but i found a pic of it on ebay. I will check for sure tom. and hit you back about it being vented to atmos.

But it must be vented to the atmos. because it does make that sound of it opening( it does sound awesome but if it ****s up my car i will definatly fix it) When i go into 1st it sometimes stalls and when i am shifting it almost dies sometimes.

Also were u talking about the o2 sensor being loose? Could this be the reason my check engine light is on( it seems like that is a common problem)

Could i get a link to some of this hose or any pipe? I may do this soon.

The way to check the check engine light is to go to autozone and get them to scan the ECU and give you the codes. Get them and come back here.

It will still open with the pipe connected, it just wont drive like **** : )

I was actually talking about your oil pressure connection being loose.

By the way, 99% of the time, if the BOV doenst have the little Greddy sticker on the top of it, its a knock off.
