Fitted the Side Bars today. Was a real simple job taking a total of 20 minutes from start to finish, no drilling required. The quality of these products is outstanding, no sharp edges and a brilliant finish.

I like it. They look sharp.
I wish they came in a brushed aluminin finish with rubber pads for steps.

I like the look but do they serve any point, you can't really step on them can you? Did you swap your fog lights or DRL lights, they look blue? Is there anything they offer that you dont have on your car yet haha?

Do any of you guys remember something posted about a running board for the Outlander? It looks flat with stainless stell accents and is specically made for the new Outlander. Can seem to find the thread anymore.

Zontarh has them on his website from Germany I think. The cost is pretty high though once you convert it from the euro to the dollar. Your looking at like something over 600 shipped easy.

No. That one I'm referring to has a domestic supplier. I regret not bookmarking it. I'll give the archives another go. That one is good for offroad, snow and rain since it's a functional running board, and from the pictures it will catch most of the road debris if combined with the OEM mudguards. I don't want bars for show, I want a functional one, and of course I'm allergic to high price, so importing is not an option for me.   The new Outlander 3L in Japan has a running board instead of the black plastic side skirt, which is cool because it looks functional. But I won't hold my breath. That will be like 2-3 years before it's domestically available here, if ever.
