hey dude!

I just ordered the rallisport 2DIN panel. I got a friend in japan that is sending it to me..

it was $180 :(

shipping to the US will probably be like $20 -$30  as soon as I get it ill buy an aftermark nav..

i might just get this one >>>

its $600 .. the mitsu nav is too much :(

I will try to do a step by step installation thread, maybe another outlander owner would benefit from it.

It will be too expensive if you buy it as an accessory. But I saved a lot when I got it as part of a package. Good luck with the project, and don't forget to keep us posted, and with pics please if you can :)

Any idea if that ralliart part comes with mounting brackets?

I ordered all the parts but now looking at some of the pics online I am unsure if I have everything I need.

As you can see here, pulling the unit out exposes what appears to be only single din mounting holes.

The pic above is taken from the AVIC-D3 manual I see four holes on each side. I wonder if just mounting it with 2 screws on each side will be enough???

Crap I also need a place to mount the brain of the camera and the sirius receiver.

No clue how im going to tackle this. We'll see .. :)
