I got a friend in japan that is sending it to me.. it was $180 :( shipping to the US will probably be like $20 -$30  as soon as I get it ill buy an aftermark nav.. i might just get this one >>> its $600 .. the mitsu nav is too much :( I will try to do a step by step installation thread, maybe another outlander owner would benefit from it. < Message edited by NothingInCommon -- 11/1/2007 8:05:48 PM > (in reply to rcpax) Post #: 11

But I saved a lot when I got it as part of a package. I ordered all the parts but now looking at some of the pics online I am unsure if I have everything I need. As you can see here, pulling the unit out exposes what appears to be only single din mounting holes. The pic above is taken from the AVIC-D3 manual I see four holes on each side. I wonder if just mounting it with 2 screws on each side will be enough??? Crap I also need a place to mount the brain of the camera and the sirius receiver. No clue how im going to tackle this.
