I bought some aftermarket gas pedal cover.  As much fun it was to install the brake portion, i found it impossible to install the gas pedal portion.  Anyone found another way to attach this?

Hi,
I got the same sports pedals (Razo Brand), got it from ebay. The gas pedal is indeed a bit tricky to install but did manage though. The gas pedal should be off centre a bit. I also did not use the spacers provided because it just makes it more complicated. Since the attached pics looks exactly like mine I assume it's of the same size, just be sure to attached it with sufficient space between the gas and brake pedals since you can accidentally press it at the same time while driving especially in rough roads.

Attached the clips behind the pedals first but do not tighten the screws all the way so you could make the adjustments, once you've measure your preference then tighten it with the allen wrench provided.

I'll attached some pics once I get the chance. Good Luck

really? you were successful in putting in the gas pedal?  the outlander 07's pedal doesn't have any spacing on the TOP part of the pedal hence the aftermarket pedals won't lock in place.  the bottom part worked fine, but without the top part fitting in, it would just slide off.

thank you so much for the pics.  really appreciate ur efforts.
i have the same setup as you. i have the 07 outlander if that makes a difference.
the brakes setup was easy
however the gas was still not possible.
here are pics.
pic 1
the back.  I can't seem to install it because of the pedal of the outlander.

pics two.  you see how # 1 is at the middle.  if you screw the top, it would work and it won't slide.

Because the outlander is located at the top (#2), no matter how hard it is installed on the bottom, it keeps on sliding off and won't clamp on. from the top.
not sure if that makes any sense......
