Yes it might... try resetting the ECU

Another big issue i see here are the bosche plugs... get those f-ing things out of there and put in some NGK Classics

Alright ill try resetting it and see what happens and could the plugs really be causing a problem beacsue they are brand new

so how are you putting a cold air intake on a car with a mass airflow sensor anyway?

Probably not, as was mentioned previously make sure your plugs are properly gapped, and as long as we're on the plugs discussion I'd recommend getting NGK copper plugs from now on. They're cheap and seem to work best really. You can check the coolant temp sensor to make sure it's acting as it should, here's a diagram that should be enough to get you started. Basically at or around 70*F you should be reading ~3k ohms on a multimeter. Autozone should have a multimeter there you can use to check and see if you even need a sensor.

well i just hope your leaving the MAS on, ive seen people take them off then wonder why it dont run right.
its really kinda useless with all the restriction of the MAS anyway.
id change those plugs . nothing but trouble.

I have the intake on but the MAS isnt connected to anything because there is nothing to plug it into, would that cause something or what am i supposed to do with it?
