Ok Hi guys long time no talk, i just got my first car which is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. yes it is a RS but it has been tricked out some with a AEM cold air intake, body kits ( i kno how much u guys love those, im in the same boat), 6.5in touch screen DVD/sterio. Yonaka racing seat x2, interios been redone from grey to black. ok heres my Question my dash/console has been painted red which i dont like, it clashes with the white and grey exterior. how do i take out the frame work around the sterio/temp guages and around the mph/rpm dash. id really like to paint it white, could i get a how-to-do-it-myself post. id really but thankful for someones help.

Removing the dash is usually pretty easy. I dont remember where stuff is to remove components but just look for screws everywhere and then once you think you got them all try and take it off. Most of the time there will be clips on the inside that will just snap off when you pull the dash off. Then i would try and sand and strip the paint off thats on it then you can just use rattle can spray paint with a primer coat, couple coats of paint and a couple coats of clear and youll be all set
