Joshewuhh -> Evo race (11/4/2007 10:48:49 PM)

Tonight me and a ****load of people met up in backwoods ass louisiana for some racing.
Best way to go on the streets, in the middle of nowhere on a 2 lane highway with full shoulders.

20g Evo VIII with cams vs a 50trim Evo MR with cams.

let me guess.. the 50 trim won

Joshewuhh -> RE: Evo race (11/5/2007 11:52:16 AM)

The 20g walked him by 3 cars.

20g left lane
MR right lane

Sebba -> RE: Evo race (11/5/2007 12:59:16 PM)

Damn i was trying to figure out what car was shifting faster to determine the MR.

bk33 -> RE: Evo race (11/5/2007 2:26:03 PM)

we don't get evos. we get neons and cavys and some time a 240. all in good fun

EMonz57 -> RE: Evo race (11/5/2007 3:24:36 PM)

Sebba the 20G is = to the 50trim or pretty damn close anyway  50trim has a little more up top also its no secret the MR is slower anyway due to tranny.  So 20G vs 50trim the 20G will spool up like at minimum 1000 RPMs sooner and make only like 30 less peak HP on meth and on pump they are close to the same so the faster spool will most cases get you ahead and keep you there

Joshewuhh -> RE: Evo race (11/6/2007 5:06:35 PM)

They were both running 112 octance leaded race gas.

they are pretty equal turbos like I said faster spool for the 20G and if the tunes are varied for each car one might be faster than the other too.  I mean I dont need to explain that though lol.  I only liked the 50trim for one major thing,  ease to upgrade later and best streetability for a big turbo.
