I have pretty much a stock 99 Galant 3.0 V6 GTZ,and was wondering at what point,if any,do you guys recommend synthetic fluids?..tranny,engine oil, rear end, etc.Or is it even a good idea in an auto transaxle anyway? If you guys use it,what brands,& what viscosity?

I would stick with 5W-30 and if you need to closer to winter switch to 10W-30.

Bro you have any pictures of that Cutlass you have? I been itching to build me another lolo. I have buit a 86 Buick Regal and a 83 Custlass. I am thinking of a Grand National GNX if I can find one or maybe a 68 Impala.

I think you have it backwards.

Colder climate = 5W30.

Warmer climate = 10W30.

Great Synthetics = Redline, Mobil 1 EP, Castrol 0W30 (made in Germany)
