What oil filter you guys recommend? Anyone thinking of Fram? almost every auto parts store carry Fram...

Also, I am at 6000 miles. Should I start using synthectic oil? Which brand name oil is the best?

I've stuck with the Mitsu filter for now given it will definitely fit and function properly.  Gone with Mobil 1 for the oil even though it is not as good as it use to be....still better than coventional oil.

Fram is the worst filter in the world.

This has been talked about a couple of times already. I use the pureone oil filter from advance auto. Cost about 5 bucks. I also use synethic oil. I have been using it since 2000 miles.

The Purolator part number is L14610 (add a P on the front for the Pure One).  Found at pretty much all auto stores.  WalMart sells a SuperTech filter that's highly rated as well

I went to syn on my first change (about 4500 miles)
