I'm new to the turner scene and want to know what parts fro the 1G are interchangable with the 2G. I need to rebuild the bottom end of my 95 GS motor and heard that some stuff like the crank were inter changable. Yes i know that the 1G has a 6 bolt main and the 2G has a seven bolt main. Can you use the main bearings and stuff like that????

Since you said you have an eclipse gs so that means u have the 420a engine, nothing is interchangable.

If you have a 2g GS (non-spyder) then nothing is gonna be interchangable since you have a chrysler 420a motor in your car which non of the 1g's came with. So the only cars you can get parts from is a 95-99 GS/RS
