Well its been pretty dead around here so I guess I will tell you all I put my new vent visors on. I found in channel vent visors from autozone.com. I got the whole set for 49.99 plus shipping and tax. Overall they were really easy to put in. My co worker and I put them on and one of us ended up cracking the corner of one but its not noticalbe so Im not worried about it right now. Ill take a few pictures and post them up later on.

hmm.. I was thinking about putting on the mitsubishi vent visors but I was unsure if id like the way it would look..

I felt the same way about the hood protector.. I thought it would look ugly, but after driving my last car on the highway for 5 years my asthetic desires were overruled by my desire to have a projectile damaged free hood. I ended up liking the way it looked anyways.

are these things stuck on with tape? or do they clamp on somehow?

Those mitsubishi made ones are held on with tape. 3m double sided sticky tape. Go on autozone.com and look up their visors. They go in the channel and tape inside the door.

Hello,

the original mitsubishi made are not only taped. They are clamped on also two times each. I´ve got them today and can take a photo tomorrow, if you want...

Greetings from Germany...
Stephan

Same with me, I bought a set just recently, it's got a tape and brackets which needs to be fitted under the weather seals along the door windows. I also bought previously one from ebay which is just a stick on but I didn't like the look have to take it off after 2 days. The OEM's are really snug fit and the brackets will make it difficult for someone to remove it especially when the windows are shut. It's also quite functional since I can drive with the windows open even at 80km/h, and wind noise is not an issue.

Here is the rear driver side. The look real clean being in channel compared to sticking it to the outside of the door.
