They fit really snug in the channel and then tape in. It is really useful because you want a little air into the car, and dont want any rain/snow or even a lot of wind noises to come in. They dont have tape that sticks to the outside of your door. You fit them inside the fram of the door and between the rubber seal and pull the plastic off the tape and it sticks right inside that channel.
