Sup Guys

I'm looking to purchase a 2000-01 Galant and want to thow some Chrome 17's or possibly 18's on, my question is would I need to modify the suspension in order to do this? or can I just throw em on? Im also looking into dropping it. Can I get some feedback from guys who actually have this type of setup and any problems you might have had with it?

yah be ayyte w/ 18's w/ out suspension mods. now when u' drop it....u' need to modify your fender, and u' need a spacer.

What do you mean by "modify your fender"? what's a spacer? How much does it cost? Is it something that I can install?

you need to get a wide body fender ( cosmetic ) for your gallant, then a spacer is to space out your wheel.....in order to freely steer a wide wheels.

check w/ your local performance shops, or shop on line. ( got one down below, check it...)

eibach springs / wheel spacer

You can fit 19's without modifing your fender if your run a proper off set and width......

17's will fit with no problem I am running 18's with no problem and this next show season I will be running 19's.

aiight u can use 18s if u want but the tires has to be 215. or if u go 17s thrown in 225 tires. if the rim offset isnt big, no modification is needed. i have 215/45/17 on and rides fine.

I am running 225/40 series with no rubbing. You have to know the correct off set and width.
