The outlander kit comes with all the hardware for the Nav unit incl the CAN (can), GPS Ant., Front panel cover, cable harness to adapt the 2 plugs and 1 tape away plug to the nav unit.. the cable harness takes 3 connectors from vehicle to 6 connectors to nav and 1 to new can. The whole setup from Ebay cost me just under 1900.00 for overnite shipping. I have (what I can tell) is all the functions of the installed unit without having them set the etsc etcs whatever to it. Im gonna try to look for D-09 near the dc connector in the back of the car for camera hookup. It has to be there. Most car manufacters would have cables for options prewired. At the build level it cost near nothing to prewire a car for dealer add ons. Old

As I was told they had some difficulties making a panel cover with the original waffel shape as the Outie, so you have to buy a original panel cover. They supply a "fill out" cover for both sides of the Avic-HD3BT in the kit. I can't remember the original part number for the panel cover I was given by the Pioneer representative here in Europe, but I will check my notes tomorrow.

Old this would be a great option for most ppl.. and I probably might have done this since im not really saving too much by going after market.. however I do really like the features of the pioneer NAV... I like the ipod interface, and the ability to have sirius on the unit is vital.. cost $600 nav unit $150 camera $80 sirius brain $20 ipod control cable $300 MMCS panel kit << ripoff :( avantage: ipod interface (w/ ipod video playback), divx playback, sirius radio, backup cam, cheaper disadvantage: less aesthetically pleasing, zero integration with cars brain, smaller screen, no HDD based nav.

If you got the Sight and Sound package, you need not worry about Sirius Radio.. The Sat is driven by the can system for programming (channels, info and display) and audio is match buy the supplied cables. Old

I meant I want to control sirius via the head unit, and not a sirius radio connected to an aux port. if thats what you meant.
