This car is a bit of a novelty, and one of my favorites. It will probably be one of 2 cars that I'll regret having sold, but as much as I hate to do it, it's time to move on. There is another car that I have my eye on, and a few things lined up for, but in order to do that, this car needs to go.

The car is immaculate, inside and out. And surprisingly fun to drive... for an automatic

It was dyno'd at 248awhp, on wastegate pressure, running the n/a 10:1 compression engine.

This car originally started out as a FWD automatic N/A 3000GT SL. I could not STAND the lack of traction, and power. So, I upgraded I had a 92 Twin Turbo parts car with 85k on it from florida (not far from where the SL was purchased from). We welded in the AWD subframe mounting points from the 92, and bolted everything in; a factory fit and finish. We sprayed under the car with underbody coating to cover the welds and prevent it from rusting.

It's running a 94-99 3000GT VR4 6speed rear diff, and a slightly modified driveshaft to fit the auto awd set-up. The internals of the trans and t-case are identical to a DSM, and take the same modifications, and parts to repair (which is nice if you decide to modify the car, the parts are readily available).

The engine is the original n/a block, still running 10:1 compression, with the stock VR4 9b turbos, piping, and IC's. We replaced the bearings, oil pump, full timing belt service, water pump, etc. When we took out the original bearings, they looked virtually new, but replaced them since we were in there anyway.

The car has a dark gray/light gray cloth interior, in near perfect condition. I have a boost gauge and single pod on the a-pillar, and a stillen downpipe, and greddy single shot exhaust. Those are the only modifications to the car.

I'm not really sure what else to write about the car, if anyone has any questions, please let me know. I do have this car listed on e-bay as well, but don't really expect it to sell there.  I'm asking $7500 for the car, but I am open to reasonable offers.  I have a lot invested into this car, and really just want to recoup some of what I have into it.  This really is a perfect car to drive daily, as you get the insurance benefits from having an SL, but the traction and power of the VR-4, and no worries about shifting in traffic. :)

here are some pictures of the car, I don't have any interior pictures at the moment, but I will add those as soon as I get some.

The car is located at the shop in Easton, PA.

VIN:  JA3XD64B5MY011230

The car currently has a free and clear PA state title.  Unfortunately, the car does have a salvage history, HOWEVER, it was due to one of the previous owners hitting a mailbox, and caused a few dings to the hood, and required the front bumper to be replaced and repainted.  There is absolutely no structural damage to the car, aside from the front bumper, the hood, frame, fenders, etc. and all the paint on the car is 100% original.  Due to the mileage and age of the car, they were able to total the car out for the money.  The chassis has 175k, but EVERYTHING, including the subframes, mechanics, electronics, etc all have 85k or less.  There is not one spec of rust on the entire car, and aside from a few small dings on the hood, the body is 100% clear on dings or dents, and a small scuff about 1 and 1/2 inches long on the bottom side of the rear bumper near the exhaust.
