Hey all,

First time owner of a Mitsubishi.  Bought a 2007 Outlander "loaded".  LOVE the vehicle.  One question: I have an iPod video, if I connect it through the AUX inputs, am I able to have my iPod videos on while driving?  The dealer told me that the DVD will not play if the vehicle is going faster than something like 5mph.  But he said if I hook in my iPod, the videos can be played wile driving.

I searched this Forum and cannot seem to find an answer.  This would be nice when I take road trips with my son who can't seem to get enough SpongeBob SquarePants.  Thanks.

I belive he is wrong, the AUX video input on the MMCS screen as well as the DVD video input cannot be displayed while driving (audio will always play).  Rear screen is a different story, but I know nothing about it.

Thanks...Kinda what I figured.  I can't believed a Salesman lied to me ;)  Anyhow, I love the vehicle.  All I want to do is drive around!

Probably not the right section of the Forum for this question, but do you have any recommendations for a cargo liner which allows for the Fosgate subwoofer in the back?

I don't think theres a specific cargo lining thats made for a sub, but I'm sure you could find a way to fit it in there without taking up a whole lotta space.  Which Fosgate sub were you looking at?

The Fosgate sub is the one that's included with the Sun and Sound package.  It's built in to the rear left paneling in the cargo area.  I might just have to go OEM and visit the Mitsu dealer.

I think the RF sub thats in those is 10" so you might be able to pick up a slim fit sub from Rockford or Alpine or something like that if you're looking to replace it. If you can't find a slim fit, check to see what sort of clearence you have behind the factory enclosure. If there's enough clearance, you could squeeze a conventional 10" single or maybe even a small DVC sub.
