I agree on the Dip stick, this really needs to be improved, may be a different groove pattern can improve the adhesion of the lighter oil.

the arm rest is really pissing me off on BOTH side.  the window side, not being able to put my arm up is tough.  the console on the middle ... the fact you call pull the console a tad forward to 'extend' the arm rest wasn't too satisifying.. but it was better than nothing.

i've had like 6 cars and only 1 car had a low washer fluid indicator and i think that was a benz...

My MkIV Golf had one.  More annoying than anything else.  Especially when the level was teetering onthe edge of acceptable and too low.  [light goes on] "BEEEEP!  Washer fluid is too low!",[light goes off], [light goes on] "NO, WAIT!  ITS LOW AGAIN! BEEEEEP!",[light goes off], and so on.  Really annoying.

A little yellow indicator would suffice. Just like in Mazda3. The accompanying BEEP would be crazy indeed. Better nothing than that.

Not much to hate about my LS.  Best deal (price and options) I could buy.
In reply to the missing seat bolt cover.  I went to the dealer and they ordered one under warranty without a question.
PART #: 6977A273XA  Cover, FR Seat Anchor  (I just looked at a 2008 Outlander and now the exact same cover is installed.)

I wouldn't mind if Mitsubishi could sell their OE XLS 18" wheels for less than the dealer sells them for.  Come on Mitsubishi, the rims are not made of gold!

I got the OE 18" wheels on my LS for about $1000.  Not bad I don't think considering I was taking their profit away on 3 sides (low interest, high trade in value, no options) and insisting on not paying a penny over invoice.  I dunno, maybe I got ripped off, but $250 a wheel didn't feel that bad.

You definitely did not get ripped off on $250 a wheel/TPMS/Tire set up.  When I bought my LS I did not think about getting an upgrade   I was just happy to get the deal I had that I didn't want to give the dealer another chance to play with my price.

Which wheel style did you get?  I saw the new style 18" wheels on the 2008, look good but like the wheels that showed up on some of the late 2007 XLS.

I just got off the phone with my dealer, he will not cover it under warranty, but the part costs $2.01.  So I'm not going to waste my time arguing.

I,too, fell victim to the no "Low Washer Fluid"... I assumed it was there, until on the night I needed washer fluid the most... it was gone.

I thought I would get better MPG than I am, when I first got the vehicle I was getting 270 miles between fill ups, now I am lucky to squeeze 210. Tires are inflated, oil changes done.

My biggest complaint about the outlander is the crappy plastic the middle console is made out of-- the silver part on top (maybe it isnt silver on everyones). From the daily insertion of a coffee mug I noticed many very apparent scratches and dings. There is even a mystery gouge in it that shows the black plastic below, and I need to figure out how to fix it...

I got the 5 spoke that was coming on the 07 XLSs around mid-year.
