ok, so i've recently come across some cash, and i'm starting on setting my 46g4 up for turbo. So, what i'm looking for is a parts list. from what i understand i need the following:   4g63 head, a turbo kit, a gauge pod,  and that's about all i know for the turbo. however, i'm also wanting to replace my pistons, rods, cam, and crank, with something a little more highperformance . i want to push a total of 500hp to the wheels when i'm done. I understand that this is going to be a long project, and i'm not too worried about it. I just need to know where i can get the things that i need to get things started. also, what do i need to do to drop the compression on my engine? my goal is to in the end be pushing 30 ilbs of boost. thanx, any help offerred is much welcome

damn kid that's a lotta boost, well you'll need like a nice turbo kit, with a meth kit to cool it down(which you'll deff need at 30 psi). and to lower the compression the best way to go would be to get the head ported and polished for better air flow. and thicker headgasket(also good for pushing anything over 20psi), pistons, cams, rods, valves, springs, retainers, crank. And then you'll need to upgrade your exhaust to a high flow, and upgrade intercooler, . and yes this is a long project that takes people a long time, mostly just to collect the money, and this project will run you at least 10k, so if you have it go for it.  and yes you are right, you will need a 4g63 head for this project.and as far as getting the parts, try slowboyracing.com

I hope you have at least $10k or so prolly closer to $15k to get you 500HP and run 30 lbs.  there is a HUGE list of things you will need.  I am not even going to start listing them you can search.  just look mods for the 2G Turbo cars and you can use any of them.  Look to see what it takes to make 500HP on them and youll find pretty much what you need.  My Evo is only 400HP and I have $10k into it

WHOA we are all forgeting you need a whole list of parts just to put the head on start there! then move on to the turbo list.

http://www.4g64.com/users/raycer97/

That will show you what you need for the head swap.
