Hi all,

I'm a proud owner of the Mitsubishi Outlander model 2008, 2.4 CVT, full options with navi since 1st December 2007. I'm living in the Netherlands, so I have the Europe model. Before I had the old model, but this car is so different, nicer and drives brilliantly.
I've a question about closing the sunroof when you lock the doors. I lock the doors by pressing once on the Keyless remote control. If I then press again for more then 1 second the windows close automatically, but the sunroof does not close. Is this normal? I would expect that the sunroof would close as well then. Does your sunroof also close when you close the windows?

Thanks for your response.

Hans

@hemdd
I own also a european version, but i so far did not try this with the sunroof as it is
raining here in Bremen/Germany the entire week. Maybe you need to check the MMCS settings.

@p6793026
If it is set up in the MMCS, the mirrors will retract automatically if you lock the doors.
But you can do this manually as well if you press the close button twice in a short sequence
within 30 seconds after the door was locked the mirrors will retract anif you press the lock button
again for more than ome second the windows will close as well.
It is the other way around if you open the doors. Then you have to do same with the unlock button,
but only mirrors will extend, windows will not move.

Cheers,
Himbeertoni

Hi ...... my UK model is just the same.  The windows can be set to close when you push the lock button but the sunroof stays open.  I have not had my Outie long enough to look into how/if this can be changed.  Does seem a bit dumb .... I just know I am going to leave the roof open in the rain !!

Hi all,

Thank you for al you replies. My dealer double-checked with Mitsubishi and it cannot be done. I think this is a bit stupid, because you can almost configure everything you want with the Navi.
