hey guys ..
as i was saying earlier that the car was running funny ...
well now i know why ...
today i installed my gauges and found the folowing....
EGT 1000'F, fuel pressure - 65psi@ idle, 20 vaccum...
as far as i know fuel pressure is supposed to be in the 35-40psi @ idle

i think someone already upgraded the pump and the fuel pressure regulator is over run...
am i on the right track over here ???

seems like he tried a couple of things and failed misserably...
and the reson why i say is that he swaped the 1G TB on there, but never ported the 2G manifold nor the elbow, and then theres the issue of the maf that had ALL the honeycombs removed :@

also in the process they managed to break off the BOV nipple and they used a ballpoint pen core that they siliconed in place.
no biggie i reason for me to upgrade to a proper greddy rs unit :P
anyways...
i have a huge pile of parts that are waiting to go on, but dont want to start bolting on anything untill i have the car running 100% !!!
