Newbie to Mitsubishi's. Looking to buy Montero Sport for 15 year old daughter. We both love the looks and drive, but a serious issue has arisen with it. First post in the Montero section due to profuse oil smoke. Always been a hands on car guy having 9 64-71  Corvettes, 67 Nova SS, 55 Bel Air, 6 72-87 Chevy trucks, etc. Now it's time to pick my daughter's first car. We're both very disappointed in our first Mitsubishi experience, but been researching on this great forum for help and information. Currently looking another 2000-2002 Montero Sport. Thanks, Jeff
