i am trying to drop my 02 Mitsubishi Lancer ES.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Style-HP-Coilovers-Mitsubishi-Lancer-02-05_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118QQcategoryZ33582QQihZ004QQitemZ140188889343QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

if i buy this coilover i don't need to buy lowering springs, right?
the coilover in this photo is the metal part, right?

Well if you wanna go for that, you might as well just save the money and cut your springs, lol and yeah ebay is the last place you shouhld be looking for carparts. I'm not gunna lie, i've bought a thing or two for my cars off of ebay, but it's cuz i couldn't find it anywhere else, and it wasn't performance parts of any kind, it was interior pieces. even though i have an excuse i'm still embarassed that i did it,lol

the thing with those is you get a terrible ride quality. If you want to lower your car then just get lowering spings, not coilovers.
