Hello everyone,
This is  a great place for info when you can't kind solutions.
I recently had oil leaking from "What i thought was my vale covers" and took it to a mechanic i trusted and told him after washing the engine and inspecting it i thought my vale covers were leaking. He looke and said it was the cover and charged me $630 for both covers. After that i still had a leak on the passenger side lower front exhaust bolts were the head and block meet. The mechanic said i forgot to tell you about that and its not worth fixing? I feel i got soaked, and i cleaned that area again and it drips from the front two exhaust bolts but it doesnt look like it is from the head gasket.
Anyone have any ideas.
Louis

Wow you got shafted. Sorry to tell you that, but the valve cover gasket is one of the simplest things to change out.

So its still leaking from the valve cover you say?
