ive been searching for some rims on the internet and right now i have 18's because they told me thats the biggest that will fit. ive heard a lot of differnt stories of putting upto 20's on an eclipse.
QUESTION: what is the biggest size of rimz for an 2g rs w/o having to modify? And...what if you have to modify, wat would be the biggest size cuz i still want to fly down the xpressway but the 18's look small on the car.

Well i believe 18's are the biggest you can put on your car without having to modify anything. You might also be able to get away with 19's with tiny tires on it but that's just pointless. and I have 18's on my 2g and they don't look small at all. Did you drop your car at all? you got a pic of it? and as for how large you can fit with modifying it, it all depends on how much your willing to modify, you can prolly fit 22's on it if you modify the strut tiwers and all that .and as for flying down the express way 18's should be good just slam the car down if you haven't already, cuz once you go up in size you have to get smaller tires, which means more likely to curb, or dent the rim.

Stick with 18s, anything over that would look stupid imo.

I had 20's on mine....dont do it.....stick with 18's. Lower your car. You will like it more then. Looks like your into the whole "show" skeem?....possibly just a ricer?.....if so you could put that car on air-ride, with 900 bucks and 24 hours of free time ;).
