ocurrs when i start my car in the morning..loud squealing also as i drive off it gets louder..new belts?loose?belt dressing

Best thing is to check the belts and see if the grooves are in good shape on them..   If there not then its just a belt..

Don't use belt dressing, cuz even if it fixes the problem for the time it'll end up drying the belts up. I would just try and just change the belts, cuz that's usually wut it is

yea 75% of the time its the belts are going bad. usually if the belts arnt bad the bearings on one of the pullies are bad. and like lhausi said, NEVER USE BELT DRESSING! your just temp. fixing the problem, and it will break or give out at a time you dont need it. trust me, i know it happended to me. i had a belt apperently shread on the way to the naval base and it was my ALT belt and made my engine overheat with no power to anything, just bearly keeping the engine running on what i had left on my battery.


moral of the story, fix your dsm, dont do quick fixes

Like what everyone else said, change those belts and you should be good to go!

also check the tension of the belts too my car was squeeling and i new my belts were new, so i checked the tension of all the belts and it was the air conditioning belt that was hella loose.
