ORIGINAL: Doddly5687 I recently purchased a 2000 gt and the heating in the car hasn't worked at all. Well it works, it blows air just fine, but it's not cold or hot it's just air. Some assholes at a dealership said it's clogged and wanted to charge me 800 bucks for a new one. I did a little research and from what I found heater cores don't go bad for awhile and I was wondering if I could just get to the heater core and unclog it or do something to fix the heat. I live in cleveland and it sucks bad driving without heat I may be alittle late to help you since I just joined today. My wife's car was doing the same thing. Check to T-stat as stated. I replaced it since the car has 122000 on it. I flushed the system. Come to find out, the car had air in the system. The coolant resovoir hose had come of and the radiator was sucking air out of the tank. Never had this happen before on any car I owned. Pearl02.
