Last Christmas day, on a not so busy intersection, and while waiting for the traffic light to go green, my 2-month old '08 eclipse gs got rear ended by a ford explorer! I'm still suffering from whiplash and the car is now at gillman collision center. i have exchanged insurance info with the other driver but I am tapping my own insurance to expedite the repairs and let my insurance company bill the other insurance company. The initial estimate by my insurance company for the repairs was around $4,000.00. Will this affect my car's value? any tips or advises anyone? I'm hoping of no frame damage but i think the rear got bent. should i trade in the car once it gets repaired? I'm really heartbroken.
