I was informed about it last month when I took it to the dealer about a noise from under the vehicle. They replaced it at that time.

BTW: The noise turned out to be a bad drive shaft. At 26K I have a bad drive shaft?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

The recall consists of checking a nut on the e-brake cable under the dash and making sure it is torqued properly. It should only take about 15 minutes to perform.

Your recall was for loose propeller shaft nuts. But they must of found a bad driveshaft center bearing so they replaced your driveshaft.

Yep! Just picked mine up this morning. I guess the nut or bolt or something comes loose, so they recalled the car. I also had to have them order new weather stripping for the front doors as mine fell apart after a year. I take care of the car, so it was unusual.
But, I love this car! Some you think you'll trade in after a few years. Nope, plan to keep this one! My son drives my 1988 Buick LeSabre, so we're known to keep cars we like a LONG time. Ask my husband, he has his dad's 1940 Buick, bought in 1943.
