I want to try to make my soon to be daily driver have a littl peep in it's step. I have heard that some new cams could help with this. I have a 95 gs yeah i know (groan). If i change the cams I have heard that I need to upgrade the computer. Is this true and if so any recomendations on what to get??

Who ever told you BOTH things, i suggest not listening to them any more.

Seriously cams are useless on that motor..... you need to dump thousands into n/a mods to get 4whp

way to be an ass .

Cams will help you in the top end for that car. You wont see too much gain and IMO they probably arnt worth the cost unless you plan on building the car up further down the line. But if you are going to be getting them. No you wont need to tune them if they are a simple streetable cam like the Crower Stage 1 which is what i would suggest for you.

Sebbas right. It's a waste at this particular time.

Cams should be near the end of your build.

theirs no way someone did all those modification and just got 4whp. I mean i know your trying to stress the point that cams would be a bit useless, but theirs no sence in false information. Anyone who correctly ports, and does those mods. I dont care if it's a toyota paseo, their achieving better results. Dont generalise by some fools mal tunning.

I actually believe sebba, cuz my buddy has an acura integra ls, and put 2500 bucks into it, with cams exhaust porting and all that. when i put it on the dyno I almost fell over laughing cuz he lost 25hp. I am dead serious and idk how he did it. He must of done something really wrong maybe put the cams in wrong or something
but anyways yeah I agree if you're looking for cams the crower stage 1 are fine cuz they're not aggressive enough to the point were you gotta upgrade valves and springs.
