I'm hearing,because i haven't started this thing yet,that the smoke is white,no smell mentioned.CEL dunno.Maybe you would...it's comp. stock.2.4 4g64,in a 95 galant...nothing aftermarket...um,maybe that'd help.

well white smoke can mean a couple of things. Its either your car is running really rich. General culprits would be the Catalytic converter or the o2 sensors or a bad Mass air flow sensor. The other possibility is that its a bad head gasket. The way to tell if its this is the smoke would have a sweet smell to it. Much like coolant. And you might experience some overheating issues.

Dusty eclipse said it'd be an e-z fix. So,probably O2 or maf.Head gasket possibly, but still, wouldn't that still be e-z to fix?

the o2 sensor or MAF sensor would be an easy fix. the headgasket however would not be easy and would be costly unless you did it yourself.

Not buying it from Dusty. We just talked about it sum. It's a 4 banger. Change'n the head gasket would be e-z to do myself. IF(big if) I keep this car ,it'll be getting new exhaust. So,there's that 1.All the sensors should be ez to...So,I should fix this 64,with 220,000 on it??? Seems like a lot o' miles. If I could find another I'd do a swap.

That is ALOT of miles, if it has the stock motor you should probobly just consider a rebuild or swap
