how much lighter is carbon fiber over fiber glass and stock metal parts?

i don't see it being all that much but ever pound counts when it comes to racing and do they make an after market finders for the 8g?

Aftermarket fenders are not made for the 8G and CF is much lighter then stock parts and lighter then FG. The stock 8G hood weighs in at about 50lbs while the VIS hood weighs about 25lbs so your saving about half. If it was made out of full CF instead of a FG backing then it would weigh much less. I have seen hoods weigh in at only 5 to 10 pounds full carbon fiber. They don't come cheap though for a full carbon fiber hood.
