Well im a newbie so appoligies . I have a friend who has a 2003 evo 8 that for sum reason wont pass 10 psi of boost changed boost controller to see if that would help and nothing please help if have any ideas would really appreciate it . TURBO CARS FOR EVER !!!!

what kinda boost controller, did it boost higher when it was stock?

the boost controller was from ebay it work great for like 6 months my friends was running like 20 psi of boost no problems.

yes when it was stock it was running higher boost like 13-14 psi of boost.

well think back, did he do anything at all right before that happened. boost controllers dont just start boosting less all by themselves. try to find the problem. take off the boost controller and see if the boost goes back to stock levels. then u will kno if the controller is the problem or not

Well I was reading up on the internet that if your car is boosting lower boost than normal that it could either be a bad air filter restricting it from breathing or that it could be that the turbo is going bad due to over boost or age of the turbo. Just an idea not a sure answer for ya.
