I got a call from the shop that my car is at and the mechanic told me they are having problems finding the right wheel cylinder for my car, they tried 6 different ones so far and is getting one more today. is he looking at the wrong places. my car is a 95 rs and was built on 09/94 which he says why it is hard to find the part not sure what he's talking about. any suggestions all i know is that on the part it has the numbers 13/16 on it.

well i dont think there should be any difference in the parts for that from 95-99 in the eclipse RS or GS. as long as he is getting the ones for the non turbo 420a he shouldnt have a problem

Is your mechanic a retard? I'd never take anything to that guy man. It's just a wheel cylinder and there should be no problem finding one for that car.

I agree w/ everyone else, it really shouldn't be anything special, they probably just dont know how to put one on the car.  I'd look for another tech.

And why is this thread under "Suspension" when the wheel cylinder is part of the brake system??
