Consider this a very reputable warning. On another forum im on, one of the members got to go see a screening of it yesterday because he knew someone that reviewed movies. Here is the reviewers quote

quote:

(MTV Realworld) + (Blair witch project) + (Godzilla) + (Aliens)

...combine those films, but subtract out plot, compelling characters,
and overall enjoyment... then you have this film. Add in some
camera-shake induced nausea and you're all set.

It tells you something when the Boston audience erupts into applause
when the huge toad/monster thing kills one of the protagonists and boos
at the closing credits. Often films like this have redeeming, awesome
special effects, but with the whole film done in the hand-held camera
style, it's hard to tell if the special effects are good or if they
just cover them up with lots of "realism" camera shake. The best part
of this "film" was that it was short.

Enough said.

and then this is a quote from the person who went

quote:

Don't worry about spoilers because there are none. There's nothing to spoil. the previews and the posters have exactly the same content that the movie has. As my friend said, it's like Real World meets Blair Witch, with a monster and some typical alienesque clichés, though it's never clear that the creature is an alien. Nothing is clear. You know exactly the same amount going into the movie as you do when you leave.

and also this

quote:

The screenings are usually interesting because no one in there has seen the movie, so at the end you get a good sense of how people took the movie. This is the FIRST time I've ever heard an entire audience boo, along with many "that sucked" and "I'm glad I didn't pay to see this". Not a single person sitting near me was saying a good thing about it.

I havnt seen it but this is a pretty reputable source since the reviewer does it for IMBD. Just so you know, probably not the best idea to waste money on this. I know i wont be

just from the previews i'm agreeing with those reviews.       very similar to the way i felt about I Am Legend... good movie BUT the entire freaking movie was in the previews!!! there was absolutely NOOOOO suprises in that movie.
